Embrace Contrast & Marks
A Stepping Stone project
Relax, recharge, and reconnect with your creativity through contrast and marks.
Would you like to play with Mixed Media
Do you struggle to find your creative flow?
In this project, Jenny work in her big vintage art journal (you can work on any background, paper or canvas!). It's a relaxing and inspiring process of free expression and creativity. Let go of perfectionism and unlock the power of relaxed and soulful mixed media.
Whether you're an experienced artist or just getting started, this is your invitation to let go of perfection, explore new techniques, and enjoy the process.
“I truly struggle with focusing on process over product. This was the first time I allowed myself to focus solely on process and really get into each step, how I felt and what I wanted, not the end result. It was very freeing and I thank you, Jenny, for setting up a lesson that allowed me to accomplish this experience.”
-Kristina
What will you learn?

Work with contrast, and expressive mark-making
Use a mix of mixed media materials like acrylic paint, acrylic ink, collage papers and more

Embrace imperfection and let the painting unfold layer by layer
What makes this class different

What If I Don’t Have All the Supplies?
No worries! Use what you have for now. I’ll share my favorite materials and techniques in the class. You do not need a lot of supplies to create the layers of depth and detail I do in this session. If you have a piece of thick paper or cardboard, some acrylic paint, some matt medium, some scrap paper for collage, and something to make marks with (can be simple items such as lids, skewers, or kitchen items) you will be able to follow along. You will get a list of art supplies that I use when you sign up.
I am Jenny and I am your Creative Guide in this class.
I am a perfectly imperfect, mixed media artist.
Like you, I spent many years pushing aside my creative spark. Then, one day I realised the only way to awaken my inner artist was to just dive in and do it.
This means focusing on the process of making art–the making and doing. Over the years I’ve developed an intuitive, unstructured, tactile and yes, messy (but fun!) process that has allowed me to open up the magic of what is unique within me.
Now, I am a Mixed Media Artist living in Stockholm, Sweden who has sold artwork, exhibited and run workshops all over the world. And I’m on a mission to inspire people like you to be brave, to use your inner creativity and to do more of what you love. To learn how to be more creative in life, as well as in your art.
I love sharing my magic world with you and can’t wait to create together with you in this live session, Embrace Contrast & Marks. I have seen how my creative approach has helped the creativity blossom in me and in thousands of my students. I’m so excited to share it with you to inspire you to expand your skills, and grow your creative confidence too.
Love Jenny
