Relax with collage

Scrap paper collage mixed media art

I am popping in today to share a quick art journal session with you. As like everyone, I have periods when my creative energy is low or I feel totally empty and uninspired. I have, during the years, found and created several different tools and practices that are helpful, for me, to get my creative flow going. One way is to turn off my brain and collage some scrap paper. It gets my hands moving and that creative energy to flow. Another way is to create in different places. I do not have to move far, it can be different places in the same room… but to move and create on the floor, by the kitchen table and by my desk, helps the energy to shift and that energy to start moving.

In my class Seasonal Flow I am giving you tips and tools to get going and to make yourself ready to catch the inspiration when it arrives and keep your creative flow going through the seasons. Creativity and Inspiration changes in cycles but by keeping a simple practice that makes me create on a regular bases, even if so short, I have found a way to catch that creative flow.

In this pop-up session I create some collage pages from scrap paper. Super simple and great fun. Come along and have a look.

Cheers,

Jenny
