Today, stillness can be hard to reach and I do not mean stillness as in lack of movement but stillness as an energetic state of mind. There is so much going on, so much input and noice in the world. Practicing stillness is really important for our wellbeing. I practice stillness and trust when painting. To be still in my mind and trust that whatever happens is ment to happen moves me into flow.

Here, the ancient goddess Artemis is portrayed. Artemis was the goddess of the hunt but also the mother of all living beings, both humans and animals. She was often depicted as a heavily pregnant woman, but in addition to her nurturing side, she could also be ruthless.
