I love working in my own handmade art journals. A grungy, “ugly” junk journal made out of scrap paper. A journal where the process is the important part and the result and outcome is secondary. For me it is a way for my creative soul to be totally free and a way to find the unique creative source within myself.
I sell these journals to help ignite the unique creative spark within others. I make my journals out of scrap material. I use scrap paper, fabrics and left over paint. I do not create my journals to be perfect or last forever. I create and use my journals at the same time. I carry them with me in my bag and journal wherever I go. My journals wear and tear and pages might even fall out but that is just a part of my creative process. I get inspired to get back into the creative process to fix it.
I make and sell these unfinished journals to help ignite your creative spark and help you leave self criticism and judging behind and just do.
Art Journaling is an important part of my creative process and it also allows me to relax, to let go and to find my flow. When working in my art journal I feel safe. For me art journaling opens up the magic of what is unique within me.
