In this class we will work both in an art journal and on a canvas. I will show you how I work to develop my voice. My process is tactile and a little messy and it is all about the beauty of the process! We will learn how to listen to the whispering of our hearts and watch our work expand and grow!

This class is a step-by-step guide to perfectly imperfect mixed media faces and soulful eyes. It will light your creative spark. You’ll feel inspired, energised and excited about drawing and painting faces. We will create 3 mixed media portraits in an easy and fun way.

I want to inspire you to change your scale and paint smaller and bigger. Paint faces on different size substrates, scale what you normally do and discover how to play with mixed media faces in a relaxed and perfectly imperfect way.

In this class, I will show you how I make my own art journals out of scrap paper, fabric and paint. The process is super simple and not very time consuming at all. I will draw several faces on the rough and uneven pages and I will move between the face and the background to ensure that I don’t get stuck for a long time with one face, but rather move on to keep the flow.

In Grungy Flow I am showing you how to emerge yourself totally in the process of creating. I want to show you when I turn off the noise in my head and just listen to the whispers in my heart. This class is all about doing. I will continue to focus on the process with no specific result in mind. I will show you several ways of creating grunge and I will go through my very meditative and fun way of adding collage.

In Perfectly Imperfect I will bring you with me in relaxed process where the faces are appearing in the paint and I will inspire you to continue through the ugly phase. Keep going and you will end up with something Perfectly Imperfect.

In The Path is the Goal we will create in a relaxing and fun way. I will encourage you to not think about the result but just do. To give yourself the time to paint with no other goal than just having fun is really freeing and will help you to let go of self critique and judgment. Create for the sake of creating!! It is rewarding!

This is the first mini-class in the series. In this class I will try to encourage you to not think about the result but just do. I hope you dare to be brave and I hope you can be nice to yourself if it does not come out as you wish. I am comparing the time you art with when you go for a walk. To just leave the daily life as it is, and just enjoy some time with your art. You will feel much better when you "get back home".

In this class I will show you how i just keep going even though I am not sure what to do next. How I add to the page while waiting for inspiration. Pablo Picasso once said that “Inspiration exists but you will find it when working”. So my goal is to just keep going until I feel what to do next… and it takes some time :))

We all have those places we love that calm us down and make us feel more connected to ourselves. In this class I am trying to find my “happy place” when painting. What do I like, what do I enjoy. Take a minute to take in the sensation when feeling happy. I love painting faces and I will show you a very simple way of adding a face to the page.
